Katara is a word that means success in a pre-Hispanic dialect from the central region of Mexico. In the company, we like to keep our roots in mind and we are delighted to be able to impact positively with jobs and social support programs such as schooling or donating vegetables to the people who are part of this great family.
Our background
Katara Farms, an organic food producer and an agricultural company that employs more than 150 people from the community, specializing in tomatoes; was founded in 2018 from the initiative of 3 brothers; Daniel, Andres, and Ricardo. After having dedicated their university education to different engineering fields, they were able to detect a need in the international agricultural market. Satisfy the need for quality organic food.
It was through dedication and studies that they decided that Katara would have to be a company that was not only in charge of distributing organic products but could also guarantee its customers and final consumers that each part of the product manufacturing process was completely organic; from the root to the end fruit.
Katara nowadays
Katara has been internationally certified to the highest standards of fresh food production. At Katara, we remain in the national and international markets through our quality and social responsibility policies.
Today, Katara is a company focused on and specializing in organic tomato production, thus occupying an extensive catalog of this same product; within the world of tomatoes, such as grape, cherry, pod, medley, cocktail tomato, and others.
Currently, Katara has a presence in Mexico, the United States, and Canada with the vision of expanding this list of countries, thus taking products of the highest organic quality to the whole world, complying with all international standards.
Our vision for the future
Katara has the vision of becoming a worldwide educational system, not only a marketer of organic fruits and vegetables, both for its consumers and all existing agro-industrialists, sharing techniques, cultivation processes, administrative processes, functional products, and experience processes in the field.
Katara intends to be a benchmark in the agro-industrial educational field, setting the standard in each of the company's processes, to ensure that all the fruits on the market are beneficial for the health of the final consumer.
